2. Data We Collect
- Provided directly: name, designation, organisation, email, phone, address, GST/PAN, bank details for refunds, enquiry and support communications, training registration details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as biometrics, health, or financial passwords; any such data received inadvertently is deleted promptly.
3. How We Use Your Data
To fulfil orders and licences, raise GST-compliant invoices, respond to enquiries and support requests, send renewal reminders, and improve our services. Marketing emails are sent only with opt-in consent, and you may opt out anytime by emailing us. We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only on a need-to-know basis with: software vendors (Tally Solutions, BUSY Infotech, TSplus, Utho) for licence activation; payment processors and banks; courier partners; our tax consultant/CA; and cloud/email infrastructure providers. Data is disclosed to authorities only when legally required. Processors may not use your data for their own purposes.
5. Data Retention
Financial records are kept 8 years (GST/Income Tax Act requirement); client and support records for the relationship duration plus 3 years; website logs for 90 days. Data is securely deleted or anonymised once the retention period lapses.
6. Data Security & Cookies
We use HTTPS, password-protected systems, and access controls limited to authorised personnel. We use only essential, preference, and anonymous analytics cookies — no advertising or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies via your browser, though this may affect site functionality. No transmission method is 100% secure; we will notify you of any breach as required by law.
7. Your Rights
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, withdraw marketing consent, nominate another person to act on your behalf, or lodge a grievance (Section 9). We respond within 30 days and may verify your identity first.
8. Other Provisions
Our services are for businesses and adult professionals; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. Data may be processed outside India via cloud/email providers, in compliance with DPDP Act transfer requirements. Our site links to third-party vendor sites and LinkedIn — we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We may revise this policy; material changes are notified to clients by email at least 15 days in advance.
